The Position:

The Regional Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Commercial Director for the Physical Access Control Solutions business area and over see a group of regional marketing managers that speak for their regions and align with the regional sales organisation.

Your role as a Regional Product Marketing Manager will be to oversee marketing strategy on a regional basis. You will understand the local markets and formulate product plans to meet those local needs and  customize product launches for each region.

 

Duties will include:

  • The PMM will interface with the segment directors to generate regionalized implementation of the PACS strategy.
  • The PMM will produce and maintain an overview of the applicability of the current PACS portfolio to each region, evaluate its competitive position against global and local product, generate a gap analysis between the PACS portfolio and regional needs. This gap analysis will be accompanied by a business case for the items, solutions or services identified.  In the event that these gaps become material to the business and cannot be added to the global product roadmap, the regional team will investigate partnering and where appropriate acquisition options to address gaps.
  • The PMM will be responsible to stay connected with peers in other PACS markets and at the global level to share experience, best practices and see how and where to find synergies and standardization in while implementing the strategy
  • The PMM will align with each regional sales director as to the roadmap, achievability of revenue targets, relevant product launches and a regional go to market plan. 
  • The PMM will organize a quarterly review of the business for each region.  This will include the revenue, GM and GM% by product line, competitive information, local trends, major regional requirements, Gaps and win-loss stories.
  • The PMM will be responsible for localization of product launches
  • The PMM will be responsible for facilitation of communication relating to product sustaining activities that effect the regions
  • Ensure necessary collateral is translated into the various languages of the regions.
  • Although your main portfolio will be to support clients groups in Emerging market, you have a global mindset, are culturally aware and had the opportunity to work in a global environment. You are skilled at building relationships, gaining the trust of your peers and leaders, and challenging the status quo.

The ideal candidate will be  a self-starter, entrepreneurial with strong experience in sales and marketing alongside working experience with biometrics and credential technology. You will be comfortable with, and able to manage constructively; change, ambiguity, debate, conflict, and informed risk taking.  In addition,  be decisive but open to new ideas with excellent English language, verbal and written.

Educated at MBA level with 7+ years in product management, business development or product marketing experience overseeing product strategy in multiple geographic regions. The qualified candidate will have experience with

  • Physical access control and physical security technology
  • Familiar with Software-as-a-Service models, strong enterprise software experience, and an understanding of information technology
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing of access control and identity management solutions.
  • An analytical, data driven approach to making decisions and choosing direction
  • Must have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to lead presentations
  • Capable of establishing credibility with sales force and customers
  • Should have formal product development process experience
  • Operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated history of excellence in customer service
